Yes, the soil contains limited nutrients when you pot an indoor plant for the first time, which are also flushed out with each watering.
If you never use indoor plant fertilizer then most houseplants will start to suffer. Lack of proper nutrients can slow or stunt their growth, cause them to lose their vigour, or prevent them from blooming.
Use organic fertilizer for indoor plants once in 15 days
Best way to judge the ratio is to see the pot size and the dosage mentioned on the back of the pack of fertilizers. For indoor plants best is to use a fertiliser which is not very strong as your house plants do not need heavy nutrition.
Indoor plants need slow-release fertilisers for better plant health. It is always better to use organic plant fertilizers designed for indoor plants for your house plants in the rooms. Fertilizers for indoor plants can be used for various indoor plants like money plants, aloe vera, succulents and many more.
